“I have been working with Coach Davis for over a year now. I am National and World Master Olympic Weightlifter who fights with mental aspects of weightlifting. I have a very stubborn brain that always wants to be in control and Kerry has been super patient, supportive, and understanding of my problems. We have been taking issues one at a time and my brain is slowly accepting the new cues and procedures. I would absolutely recommend Kerry Davis as an amazing mental coach who can help a lifter get the most from their training."

Olympic weightlifting is a great sport for anybody at any age. Â I got a late start to the sport in my late 50's when Coach Dan Fischer started Boise Barbell. Â Now in my late 60's I am still going strong and have won three national masters championships...so far. Â Dan demonstrates patience in teaching us the correct technique of the sport with a positive approach. Â As we challenge our bodies physically, I have also been thankful for the regenerative sessions from Coack Nik Edens. Â Working on my shoulder and back, Nik has relieved the discomfort as well as provided me with individual exercises to promote better mobility and healing. Â I highly recommend Boise Barbell. Â I can't imagine training anywhere else.

After months of a close friend encouraging me to try out Boise Barbell, I finally got up the courage to go in. Â I will forever be grateful that I did. Â Boise Barbell is my family, my friends, my sanity! Â I went hoping to look better in a swimsuit and what I got was so much more! Â I gained confidence, I learned how to keep at something even when it got tough. Â I found the desire to remain consistent and to develop a healthy mind and body. Â My kids have joined, and also found a second family, learned to set and achieve goals. Â I can't imagine my life without this place that is so much more than a barbell club.
